Hey Binch!

Peace, I am Reign, a multidimensional artist from East New York, Brooklyn. I am currently getting my BA in Painting at the CUNY-Hunter College.

I am inspired by my Afro-Carribean culture, my East New York community, and pop culture. I primarily paint with femmes at the focus of my art. I tend to use bright colors in my artworks and folklore inspired imagery. If I were to pick artists that came before me that inspire me; they would be: Faith Ringold, William Henry Johnson, Rafael Hernandez, Henri Matisse, Erykah Badu & so much more ! I hope to continue being inspired and sharing with you through my creative talents. Whether it be painting, singing,rapping, upcycling, or jewelry/charm making…time will continue to be decorated by me in my own special way.

Jibarabinch has been my IG since I was 15. It’s derived from the two words, Jibara and Bit*h, cause that’s what I am. Simple.
